Chicago, IL- October 10, 2011 – The Dead Shall Rise, new and emerging artists from Chicago celebrate Halloween and collaborate to make the dead come alive through a variety of artistic styles on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 7 pm - Midnight at Royal Flesh Tattoo & Piercing located on 4005 North Broadway, Chicago. Tattoo artists from The Alley, Fifth Sun Graphix, Twisted Tattoo and Royal Flesh are collaborating for a unique art show, which will showcase the creative talents of the following artists: Max Weber, NEXER, Paul Schissler, SHOBIZO, Jimmy Kawa, Juan Andraus, Ben Duarte, Frank Castellanos, Adrian Montoya, Caitlin McKay, Dan Tipton, JOLLY and POWDER who specialize in many genres of tattoo art.
The gallery show will also feature a costume contest for guests who dress up in the best death costumes, special discounts, live raffle with a combination of unique prizes, DJ’s, and complimentary refreshments will be available. This free show will feature unique art on display and for sale, including appearances from the featured artists.
Nick Maiella, owner of Royal Flesh Tattoo & Piercing, prides himself in offering a variety of art show galleries bi-monthly at his business in an effort to start a creative movement in the Lakeview and Uptown areas.
