Nickolas, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far?
"I opened Royal Flesh Tattoo and Piercing to the public May 15, 2009. It all started with a super late night after the bars closed in Chicago Winter, 2008. Talking about opening some kind of business and doing something different than going out till 4 and 5 in the morning, more than a few days a week.
The tattoo shop idea came up along with Laundry mat, cell phone store, social club, bar or nightclub, pedicab. I come from a photo and video background and want to so something in business that was artistic minded. So Royal Flesh Tattoo was conceived.

At the core, Royal Flesh is about ART!
Our Artist team here have a passion for arts of all kinds. They count it a honor when they create art from the client's minds eye picture and exceed their expectations. Not to mention, are team is highly synergistic, all of them have many different styles that they specialize in.
They thrive because the creative energy and synergy electrifies the studios atmosphere. It's truly inspiring.
Even our clients can feel it when they are here!
What is also unique, because I do not do the tattooing or piercing I come in everyday with one thing in mind. Giving our clients the most amazing Body Art experience while supporting my artist team with everything they need to practice their gift.
